The press release in BN De Stem from 6 December.

Etten-Leur has gained one head office. Almet Benelux is building new business premises in Vosdonk industrial estate with a floor area of 7,000 square metres. This space is primarily intended for the warehouse, explains CEO Herman de Kwaasteniet from Almet.

Almet currently employs around 45 people in the Netherlands, and another six in Belgium. The company is currently based in Breda. The new building will have less floor space than the current building. We had to sacrifice a little on office space especially. Project developer Focus from Eindhoven is managing the project, for which the foundation has already been laid.

Almet CEO, Kwaasteniet, says that the choice to move to Etten-Leur was ’actually made by accident. Our partner in this project still had some unused land. ‘This provided Almet an opportunity to move into a compact new building. ‘We have become a little smaller, and we find it important that the building has the right size for our requirements.’ The new building offers better storage stacking options. ‘Some sheets are up to 14 metres long, so that's something to keep in mind.’ The building at Vosdonk has three loading docks to supply the entire Benelux.

All in all, Kwaasteniet is content that his business was able to find a more suitable home so close to Breda. "We wanted to stay in the region. Because our professionals are our biggest asset. Now we are staying close by.''

The new business premises will be located at Tussendonk in Etten-Leur. ‘We think we will be operational by the end of the second quarter of next year,’ says the Almet CEO about the completion and relocation from Breda.
